COURSE DESCRIPTION: This 8-hour online training course will help your officers write clear, concise reports—reports that will meet legal requirements and increase your chances of conviction.

Where’s the CD?
Previous versions of this class shipped with a CD-ROM that contained the videos for the course. Those videos are now streamed on the website so the CD-ROM has been discontinued. (No content has been changed.)

On the Report Writing Online Training Site:
Officers watch crime scene scenarios and complete interactive exercises, quizzes, and a final test.

In the Workbook:
Officers take notes and write reports. The workbook parallels the online training, but also provides some extras not available on the website.

To Pass the Course:
Officers must demonstrate 100% competency on the final post-test in order to pass the course and receive a Certificate of Completion.

Advantages of Online Training:
Officers can learn at their own pace and fit training into their busy schedules. They can train at home, at work, at school, and even at a local library.
